Good Boys Film Club is based in Leeds and screens films that explore all elements of masculinity, boyhood, and male violence. The aim is to analyse depictions of men and the male body in cinema, interrogating their relationship with us as viewers. Violence pervades male identity, both on the screen and in our everyday – its presence lingers, offering little respite. These screenings are a chance to address this, opening up discussion about its pitfalls, repercussions, and possibility for redemption.
