Support the RFN
Having survived on a shoestring for more than a decade, the RFN is now seeking to raise funds for its activities. While the RFN will continue to be run by volunteers, the network is now so big that we need an operating budget to cover all the costs involved in running the network – such as maintaining a website – and to help limit our environmental impact (e.g. helping unwaged conference attendees travel by train rather than plane).
Raising funds for the RFN also means we can start building up small reserves for any unforeseen emergencies and doing more proactive things for the community that have costs attached. So dig deep and know that your money will be put to good use!
transparent and open
The RFN’s finances are managed via Open Collective, an organisation that helps progressive organisations raise money in a transparent and open way. With Open Collective, everyone can see where the RFN’s money comes from and where it goes. Check out the RFN’s Open Collective account and support the network with as much or as little as you like using the following options:
✊ The Workers Film and Photo League: a custom or recurring donation of your choice
🎥 The Dziga Vertov: £2 per month
🕔🕖 The Agnès Varda: £24 per year
🎷 The Ousmane Sembène: £50 per year
🌼 The Věra Chytilová: £100 per year
🚩 The Friedrich Engels: a one-off £1000 contribution.
